Mining Rig Frames
Every part of a cryptocurrency hardware mining rig is important, and non more so than the mining rig frame, and they're also one of the cheapest parts you will buy.
Rig frames come in all shapes and sizes, but you should be looking for a frame that holds 6 GPUs. That is the standard size, as anybody who only mines with one or two GPUs is losing out. So, it's recommended to go with 6 at least.
The rig frames are easy and fast to install, and they will come with a detailed guide of how to assemble.
They are very durable, and they all have a cooling design to extract heat away from the GPUs. Any good quality rig frame will offer enough space between the GPUs.

GPU (Graphics Cards)
The GPU (Graphics Card) is what mines the cryptocurrencies. Of course everything works together, but it's the processing power of the graphics card that allows you to mine.

You're going to be mining 24/7 so getting the best power supplies is critical to mining efficiently.
We recommend the EVGA Supernova 1200 P2 80+ Platinum for best results, especially if you're powering several GPUs. It is the ultimate tool for powering GPU mining rigs.

Motherboards are what connects it all together.
You'll want a motherboard with at least 6 PCIe Riser connections. Many come with more, so it's not a problem, but make sure you have sufficient space for the amount of GPU you intend to mine with.

CPU doesn't need to be the most powerful, as you will be processing all the mining through the GPU. So something as powerful as an Intel Core i3-9100 will be sufficient for your mining needs.
It's a desktop processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, offering mainstream performance for exceptional overall productivity. It comes with thermal solution, but I would recommend getting some thermal paste as well.
There are cheaper and more expensive CPUs, but this one is sufficient, and we recommend it.

Between $75 - $100
RAM isn't that important to your mining effectiveness, so you will only need between 4gb and 8gb of memory.

PCIe Risers are needed to allow you to power several GPUs through one motherboard. It depends how many GPUs you run, but most people mine with 5 or 6 and if that's you, you will need some PCIe Risers.
I advise getting the ones from the link as they're suitable for mining GPU and come with SATA cable, and are 4, 6, and 15 pin compatible.

SSDs - Hard Drives
An SSD is necessary for storing all the protocol, and depending how you do it, will measure your GB needs. If you go with a mining pool, which you should do, you will only need about 60GB total, and the one I'd recommend is the PNY CS900, which 120GB (Best to be on the safe side).

Water Cooling GPU
Water Cooling isn't for everybody, but if you want to quieten down your mining rig, it will do so quite significantly.
Also known as liquid cooled mining, it will keep your GPUs cooler, and allow you to overclock your rig, meaning you will have more hashpower. It's mostly gamers and video editors that will benefit from water cooling, but it does help mining too.
But depending how much you need it could be quite expensive. I'd only recommend water cooling if you want to lower the noise levels.
It depends what you need but the FrostFlow 120 VGA is is a good liquid cooler built for mainstream gaming VGA cards cooling and extra cooling for VRAM with a cooling capacity of 220W, and it shpuld prolong the life of your GPUs too.

Thermal paste is needed for your CPU. Any good CPU will come with its own thermal pad, but if you're funning it 24/7, you really need to apply thermal paste on your CPU, and replace it every few weeks too.
You can but just the paste if you like, but we recommend getting the full equipment. It won't break the bank, and it comes with all the equipment you'll need.
