BITCOIN STALE BLOCKS ACCELERATE ON PEAK MINING ACTIVITY
Bitcoin (BTC) is designed with the possibility to discover two blocks at the same time, though this is a relatively rare event. But in the past couple of weeks, stale blocks have occurred in rapid succession. BitMex research counted three stale blocks in the past couple of weeks, with another stale block in January.
